We have an exciting opportunity for a Reception Co-ordinator to join our team based across our sites Arlington and Chalk Farm both in the Camden area.  You will be responsible for providing a customer focussed, high-quality service to all our customers, visitors and staff at these two main offices.

You will be responsible for the reception areas, meeting rooms and communal areas at both sites.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing a high-quality service to the staff working within Chalk Farm Road and Arlington House, including servicing meeting rooms to ensure they are ready for meetings and tidying after them.
  • Day to day supervision of the office services such as cleaning, waste disposal, parking and postage.
  • Management of the receptions at Chalk Farm Road and Arlington House.
  • Security of the Chalk Farm Road office including opening and locking the property, managing the video security contracts, and the Security Company Out of hours call out main key holder of the building in emergencies.
  • Day to day health and safety checks to ensure the working environments and receptions meet good H&S standards.
  • Working closely with the corporate health and safety team to ensure work station assessments and risk assessments are undertaken within Chalk Farm Road and Arlington offices.
  • Responsible for delivering services within budget and keeping logs and records of services where necessary using systems such as PIP where necessary.  
  • Ensuring appropriate documents and procedures are issued and completed in required time, including but not limited to stationery and postage procedures, telephones and health & safety audits around the work areas. 
  • Ensure that the offices are maintained to a high, professional standard
  • Act as a First Aider and Fire Marshal in the event of an emergency

About You

You will have excellent customer service skills and have previously worked for a large housing association.  It is essential that you are experienced in dealing with a wide range of customers with different needs.  Experience of working with vulnerable people is advantageous.
