It is an exciting time to join One Housing Group, especially in its fast-paced communications team.

One Housing is a regulated housing association and is one of the largest providers of supported housing in London and the South East. We manage over 16,000 homes in over 26 different London boroughs and across several Home Counties. We are a social landlord to over 30,000 residents – and support over 11,000 residents to live independently.  We are delighted to join g15 and play our full part in helping to address the housing crisis in London.

We’re looking for a creative, motivated, forwarding thinking Corporate Communications Officer to join our communications team and support our Communications Manager. You will help us to deliver dynamic communications material in a variety of channels to help us communicate to our residents, customers and corporate stakeholders.

Over the last year we’ve been working with our residents, employees, and stakeholders to renew our vision and values. We have just launched our new five year plan which shows that we are committed to improving our services to residents and investing in our communities, as well as building high-quality affordable homes in the areas where we have a long-standing presence.

You will be comfortable using digital and traditional communications channels to reach our customers and residents. You will provide high quality digital communications to support our customer contact centre and other operational teams meet the needs of the diverse communities where we provide social and supported housing.

The successful candidate will be ready to hit the ground running. You will be keen to take ownership of this role and deliver high-quality communications activities.

In order to apply for this role, you will have the following experience:

  • Experience with communicating and marketing offers to a variety of different audiences.
  • Experience with content management systems and a good working knowledge of writing for digital channels.
  • Advising and supporting development marketing & sales team when they are communicating or marketing to current or future residents/ customers.
  • Experience working with different brands and reputation management.
  • Responsible for management and innovation of our customer-facing channels
  • Support the resident engagement team with big resident and customer events
  • Demonstrable experience in social media and digital marketing including analysing large amounts of data and making decisions which bring about positive change
  • Proficient in writing, editing, commissioning and publishing accurate and appropriate copy for online and printed communications to a variety of audiences
