We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Care and Support Assistant to join our service in Camden at Camden Park House, a 13 bed Care Quality Commission registered mental health care service. 

Our aim is to improve the quality of life of our customers, building confidence and skills to allow them to live independently while playing an active role in their communities. We view all our customers as individuals with specific needs, treating them with respect and dignity, and focusing on achieving real results.

The Role

Working with us you’ll be comfortable providing personal care and support to our customers and be familiar with providing a broad range of support and care tasks to a caseload of customers. Tasks will focus on areas such as daily living skills and tackling social isolation.  Part of your role will also include administering of medication and ensuring care and support plans are developed to meet the needs of our customers.

We work on a rolling rota and are looking for people who are flexible to work 37.5 hours Monday – Sunday across both of our shift patterns (early starting at 7.30am and late starting at 1pm). This position does not require sleep-ins or waking nights.

About You

We are looking for passionate individuals with experience of working within the housing sector.  Previous experience of preparing care plans, administering medication and supporting with personal care is important.  You will have strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written skills.
