We recently opened our doors and are excited to be expanding our team.   We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to come on board and form the frontline staff of our beautiful flagship service – a 64 bed luxury home offering the highest levels of support to its residents through personalised residential, nursing and dementia care.

Our new home, one of many to come, has been launched with the aim of developing a service attuned to the individual needs of each resident, and a place where they are proud to call home. We believe in investing in the products that enable our staff to deliver efficient care in the most effective and discreet way. We also recognise that in order to deliver a high-quality service for our residents, we must create a supportive and happy environment for our staff.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to provide stimulation and encouragement to our residents through entertainment, activities and outings whilst maintaining a caring and inclusive culture.
  • Place great value on social contact and companionship by actively engaging with the local community.
  • Be able to think innovatively so that residents can achieve extraordinary things, within their capabilities.
  • Foster and develop meaningful relationships both in and out of the home.
  • Have previous experience in a similar role (this is essential).

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating ongoing weekly activity programs that ensure a wide range of opportunities are available to stimulate the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of all residents.
  • Supporting residents with individual programs based on life stories, taking into consideration an individual’s goals, skills, & abilities (inspired by resident interests, assets in and out of the home and group explorations of subject areas).
  • Motivating and guiding other members of the team to incorporate wellbeing and activity into their role wherever possible, with support from Wellbeing Leads and direction from Home Manager.
  • Actively engaging with family and friends so that meaningful relationships can be maintained.
  • Creating partnerships with local community organisations and individuals, regularly taking residents out and bringing external groups to the home.
  • Promotion and marketing of the home’s lifestyle approach and the benefits for residents.
  • You will be flexible to work Monday to Sunday (5 days over 7 days) 9am until 5pm
