We recently opened our doors and are excited to be expanding our team.   We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to come on board and form the frontline staff of our beautiful flagship service – a 64 bed luxury home offering the highest levels of support to its residents through personalised residential, nursing and dementia care.

Our new home, one of many to come, has been launched with the aim of developing a service attuned to the individual needs of each resident, and a place where they are proud to call home. We believe in investing in the products that enable our staff to deliver efficient care in the most effective and discreet way. We also recognise that in order to deliver a high-quality service for our residents, we must create a supportive and happy environment for our staff.

As a Laundry Assistant, your role will be to work as part of the housekeeping team in providing an efficient and effective laundry service that fully meets the needs of our residents, along with the high standards expected in the Home.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be highly organised with strong time management skills
  • Be able to work alone as well as within a team
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Have knowledge of COSHH and infection control protocols
  • As our residents are at the core of what we do, you should have excellent communication skills in order to provide the best possible service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sorting washing into relevant groups and action as required through the washer, dryer and iron.
  • Ensure the laundry room is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Ensure all equipment is clean and well maintained.
  • Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably assigned.
