We have an exciting new opportunity for a driven and ambitious Junior Treasury Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team at our Head Office in Camden.

Working as part of the wider Finance team you will focus on the day-to-day treasury operations through the management of One Housing Groups debt and investment portfolio, management of all treasury payments and receipts and accurate recording of the treasury activity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Management of daily cash balances, ensuring that balances are managed in line with the Group’s Treasury Management Policies and strategies.
  • Preparing short-term (daily and weekly rolling) cash flow forecasts.
  • Liaising with the Corporate Finance Analyst to ensure that any medium and long-term cash flows are also considered.
  • Processing of all treasury related payments e.g. interest, capital repayments, intercompany movements, commitment fees etc.
  • Ensure that loan drawdown and rollover notification/letters are drafted for approval, approval is obtained and then issued to group counterparties in line with requirements as set out in the funding agreements.
  • Working with the Treasury Controller to ensure that all treasury activity is correctly recorded in the Group’s financial systems.
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting to the wider treasury and finance teams
  • Support the delivery of quality and value added management reporting and information to senior management.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • Preferably a University degree or college education in a related subject
  • High numeracy skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel
  • Fluent in English
  • Team player, contribute to team building
  • Strong analytical skills and attention for detail
  • Inquisitive and enquiring mind
  • Experience of working in a treasury team in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential
