We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and energetic individual to join our team on an initial 6 month fixed-term maternity cover. 

You will oversee strategic marketing communications for our inspiring organisation that works at the front line of the housing, health and social care crises. You’ll be an ambitious PR, marketing, brand and communications specialist who is looking for an opportunity to enjoy a varied role, grow your CV and have a degree of autonomy and interaction with senior staff that will give you the skills to move on to a managerial position in your next role.

As a creative thinker with editorial skills as strong as technical knowledge, you will find imaginative ways to help us drive forward our commercial businesses while at the same time highlighting the work we do to support the most vulnerable people affected by the housing and social care crises.

You could be checking an advert for a multi-million pound development in Canary Wharf in the morning, making a PR call for a care home before lunch and evaluating the impact of marketing for a backpackers’ hostel, coffee shop and bar in the afternoon.

Reporting to the Media and Marketing Manager, this is a vital post for the organisation that is at the heart of group’s marketing and communications team.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee our marketing communications and work with operating brands to keep them at the cutting edge.
  • Use your creative flare as you work closely with digital, PR and resident communications teams to develop engaging content and brands.
  • Use your editorial skills to develop and sell in PR stories.
  • Evaluate marketing plans and performance to suggest improvements.
  • Provide expert advice across the business in marketing and brand.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns to support operating brands.
  • Produce corporate marketing campaigns.
  • Offer technical expertise in marketing and brand and help to manage projects to improve our offer to customers.
