We have an exciting new opportunity working within our Communications and Marketing team, which provides strategical and operational corporate marketing and communications services to One Housing.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic candidate who will support the team, with a specific focus on our internal communications and publications. You will support the Internal Communications & Publications Manager to deliver communications to a diverse body of staff located in different places and engaged in a wide range of different roles. You will need the ability to build strong relationships and should have excellent attention to detail, as you will be responsible for ensuring that the content on our intranet, in our staff newsletter and on other internal channels is accurate and engaging. You will be confident reviewing communications and marketing materials before they are published, and be able to research, source and write unique and captivating content for our internal communications channels.  You should also be confident getting stuck in with design software packages such as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, and dealing with the technical side of our intranet to develop its functionality, monitor usage and address any technical issues.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven track record working within a communications/marketing team.
• Previous experience of developing, sourcing, researching and writing articles and news stories, for example for newsletters, websites, intranets and other communications materials.
• Proficient in the use of Adobe packages such as Acrobat, InDesign and Photoshop
• Experience of working with graphic designers, and on publications, including scheduling, editing and proofreading.
• Able to support the wider communications and marketing team as required, and to work collaboratively so that all communications opportunities are maximised across all channels and audiences.
• First class level of IT skills, highly articulate, and strong attention to detail
