Our new home, has been launched with the aim of developing a service attuned to the individual needs of each resident, and a place where they are proud to call home. This flagship service will be a 64 bedded luxury home offering the highest levels of support to its residents through personalised Nursing, Dementia and Residential care.

As a Receptionist who will be the main point of contact to greet visitors within Baycroft Chelmsford and will work 15 hours per week, you should:

  • Have previous experience within a similar role
  • Possess positive energy, friendly smile and supportive approach
  • Have a “can do” attitude
  • Be solutions focussed and driven
  • Comfortable working with computers
  • Along with providing efficient and professional reception within the home, your role will include close interaction with staff, residents and family members therefore you should possess exceptional customer service is key

Key Responsibilities

  • To warmly welcome and receive all visitors to the Home, ensuring that the appropriate register is completed and the relevant resident and/or staff member notified. You will also escort prospective residents and/or relatives/representatives around the Home, ensuring that they are given an opportunity to view the facilities and services available.
  • To receive, process and distribute all incoming calls, mail, faxes and e-mail etc. in a timely fashion.
  • To support the administrator in the typing of routine correspondence as required in connection with the administration of the Home when requested.
  • Ensure adequate stocks of forms, and stationery are available in the receptions area and it is always clean and tidy.

We’d love for you to have worked in a care environment before, however what is more important to us is having the right personality, being impeccably organised, having the ability to work to deadlines and being confident finding your way around computer systems.
