We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer to support One Housings exciting new brands. Season - Senior Living Extra Care and Baycroft – luxury residential, nursing and dementia care homes.

The Role

You will be supporting the Project Managers and the Housing, Facilities and Service management teams in the management of our Senior Living development pipeline. You will be involved in monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.

To be successful as a Project Officer, you will need to be able to work to tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, and have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills as well as outstanding organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
  • Oversee project procurement management
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
  • Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.

Role Requirements:

  • Proven track record of supporting and managing projects ideally from housing or construction background
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Highly competent in the use of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Track record of working to tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Drivers licence required due to location of services
